DNWs

Character Death
Major character death especially is off limits. Minor character death is okay, ex. red shirts in Star Trek, however I would appreciate there being a purpose to it, as a form of motivation, as a way to show off the magnitude of the threat they're facing, etc. Temporary main character death or near death is allowed as long as they come back in the end.

Noncon
Please do not write any non-consensual sexual encounters between characters. I do enjoy dubious consent as long as both parties are enjoying themselves and are attracted to each other.

Overly Mean-Spirited Characters
I encourage banter between characters, it's one of my favorite things, but don't have people being unnecessarily mean to each other. There's a line between friendly ribbing and straight up insults. While there are characters in the pieces of media I requested that don't always get along, don't have them going for the throat, at least not without anyone else pushing back against that level of rudeness.

Heavy Angst
I enjoy angst a lot, however I would rather it not be so heavy and sad that it just bogs you down. Conflict is a natural part of a story, especially with a plot heavy exchange like the one we're doing. I just ask that it isn't super duper depressing.

Underage Romance
I enjoy problematic age gaps, but not when characters are too young. So please, no romance for characters under 16.

Break-Ups
Temporary break-ups are fine, but please do not have the ships I tagged break up with each other. I enjoy these relationships a lot and don't want to see them sad and heartbroken.

Romance
At heart, I am a romance girlie (gn). I love love so much! I would really enjoy some romance from any of the / ships I tagged. If you don't like romance or aren't comfortable with writing it, that's totally okay, I did also tag a bunch of platonic ships I like, and I'll accept any ambiguous spins on the romantic ships, or some pre-romantic, friend era writing.

Fluff
Pretty self-explanatory, I love feel-good, sweet moments between my favorites. Romantic fluff, platonic fluff, familial fluff, you name it, I enjoy it.

Hurt/Comfort
I really enjoy some good hurt/comfort. Having my characters go through angst, only to have someone in their corner who can hold them and tell them it's going to be okay. Or an injury that reminds them of their own mortality, and an ally willing to patch them up and get them back on their feet. I really enjoy it, whether romantic, platonic, or familial.

Women Being Badass
Also pretty self-explanatory. I have some of my favorite female characters tagged for this exchange, and I love seeing them be powerful and confident, as well as kicking ass in their own unique way.

Flirting and Banter
I enjoy banter. As long as it doesn't get too mean or rude, I'm having fun. Like I mentioned in my DNW, if it does go too far, I'd at least want it to be called out. I really like when characters are comfortable being sassy with each other, and to me it's a sign they like each other, even if they'll deny it for as long as possible. I also enjoy my couples flirting with each other, whether pre or during their relationship. It doesn't have to delve too far into innuendo (although I love innuendo) if you don't want it to.

Conflict
Like I said with my heavy angst DNW, I do enjoy conflict, just as long as it is resolved by the end. Especially for an exchange like this. I love plot mixed in with romance, and a good conflict to go with it. Especially one that makes me think, or an antagonist that kinda has a point. So long as it doesn't delve too far into darkfic territory, I love it.

Situational Humor
I love me some funny moments! Jokes, banter, and of course, situational humor. Just characters getting into scenarios that are funny, which then in turn creates funny moments and quips you wouldn't get outside of that, and I love it.

Ensemble Fics
I really like when a lot of the characters are in one space. Even if the plot is focused on a few of the main cast, getting to see everyone else in the universe interacting and keeping the operation going is really nice and I enjoy it a lot. Bonus points if they're having a party or gathering of some kind and have to solve a mystery in the middle of it.


Hair Specific Likes
Playing with a partner's hair. Braiding/styling. Getting distracted by someone's hair. Ponytails smacking people in the face. Hair pulling, both in a kinky way and in an elementary school style fight way. Someone putting their nose into the hair of their partner.


Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Setting
I really enjoy seasons 4 and 5, as well as 2 but not as much. They're my ideal Spuffy eras.

Spike/Buffy
My OTP, my ride or die. These two are great, when they're adversarial or when they're all lovey dovey. The two of them have great hair they put a lot of effort into maintaining, even when they're on the hunt for slays they still make sure their hair looks damn good. I love when Spike is thinking of Buffy's long golden hair enough to slip into poet mode, and when Buffy likes breaking up the gel of Spike's hair to get to the wild curls.

Platonic Pairings
I love the interactions between Dawn and Buffy, as well as Dawn and Spike. I'm very much in the camp of Dawn being Buffy and Spike's kid in their strange family dynamic. I think it'd be cute if Buffy witnessed Spike braiding Dawn's hair and got all heart eyed, because he's so good with the light of her life.

Star Trek

Spock/Uhura
My Trek OTP. I love these two, and the mutual respect their relationship is built off of. I think they'd both have fun with hair. Nyota loves a good extravagant hairstyle, and Spock's hair is so utilitarian. I think they both would like to pull on the other's hair, just a little bit.

Pike/Tilly
My other Trek OTP. These two are dork4dork, if only they didn't have that twenty year age gap or big difference in their rank! I think they both have great hair--Tilly's copper curls and Pike's swoopy greys. I think they think about each other's hair a little more than would be considered normal. It'd be fun to read about them trying not to think about how great the other's hair is, because he's her superior and it would be wrong! (but so right)

Platonic Pairings
I love Pike and Una's dynamic. They're totally space dad and space mom, in a queer-platonic, not necessarily romantic way. Una is also someone that likes wearing her hair in different styles all the time, and I think she takes great pride in her hair. Tilly and Nyota never met, but I think they would've been best friends. They'd probably have so much fun doing each other's hair all of the time too.

Star Trek - Strange New Worlds

Setting
I'm currently around halfway through season 2 (last episode I watched was Among the Lotus Eaters) so around or before that point is when I'd prefer the fic take place.

Relevant NOTPs include Spock/Kirk, Spock/Pike, Spock/Chapel, Spock/T'Pring, and Una/La'an. I would prefer no T'Pring in this fic.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Setting
I haven't caught up with the MCU. Any time between the first Thor movie and before Infinity War (and Loki's death) works great.

Loki/Darcy
My MCU OTP. I love these two so much. Loki is definitely the hair diva of the MCU, rightfully so, those lovely locks are great. Darcy usually covers her head with a beanie and doesn't really do her hair, so maybe a change of pace would make Loki speechless. Plus Loki has magic and could definitely create some interesting hairstyles for Darcy, either as a favor or as a prank.

Jane/Thor
I love these two. Thor has great hair too that he takes a lot of pride in, if him having to lose it in Thor: Ragnarok is any indication. I think Jane would like playing with it, and tugging on it while making out with him. I think it's fun to do a role reversal, since men are usually idolizing women's hair not the other way around.

Fandom Specific DNWs
Relevant NOTPs include Bruce/Natasha, Loki/Natasha, Loki/Thor, and Loki/Clint. Please don't sweep Loki's trauma under the rug, or claim he intended everything he did. It's heavily implied through a deleted scene in The Avengers that the Other is influencing Loki's actions. There are choices he made that were bad and he should get consequences for those, but he's more of a scared child than an evil genius. Also please don't kill Loki, at least not permanently.

Overwatch

Setting
I don't keep up with the Overwatch lore as much as I should, so you can set it whenever.

Lifeweaver/Symmetra
It's an obvious ship, but it's a good one. I think Niran's free spirit and compassion balances out Satya's perfectionism and tendency to be hard on herself. They also both have long beautiful hair. I'd like to think Satya gets annoyed with her hair more often than not, while Niran is like, if I have a bounty on my head I'm at least going to look hot just in case I die.

Lucio/Symmetra
I love me some enemies to lovers. I think these two have the potential to be really fun, with Satya's straightforward energy and Lucio's sense of justice and fun. Lucio also has really good hair that he definitely puts effort into, and I think it'd be something Satya would enjoy to fidget with.

Lucio/Lifeweaver/Symmetra
When in doubt, polyamory. I think Satya deserves two boyfriends, and they'd really balance each other out. Plus Satya has a type--staunch activists against Vishkar. Lucio and Niran would also have a great dynamic, and we know Niran is pansexual so he would be into it.

Cassidy/Vendetta
Hear me out, I think these two would be a great couple. It's again, classic enemies to lovers, and I think also enemies and lovers. They've also both got beautiful hair, and I think they'd both be into hair pulling. Especially if they're having hate sex, or trying to win in battle. After all, Marzia has that ponytail, all Cassidy has to do is pull hard enough and she's down. Oh what a shame that would be ;)

Hanzo/Widowmaker
There's missed potential with these two. They both killed (or thought they killed) someone really close to them, and had different reactions to it, but there's still that guilt they could share. Plus with them both being sharpshooters, they have that in common. They could help each other process their grief, and become better people because of it. They also both have great hair. Amelie's is usually in a long braid, and Hanzo's is in a ponytail, so imagine them seeing the other with their hair down, and how pretty they'd look.

Kiriko/Mizuki
New ship but I think it's worth paying attention to. They're both a part of the Yokai, and I think their carefree chill attitudes complement each other. They also both have fantasy hair colors that may or may not be natural. Do they dye their hair together once a month? Do they try out different styles? And how does Mizuki look without that giant hat?
